Freedom?

Free-flowing: uniting with nature, feeling comfortable being placed in environments you are not used to. We are people of the planet, so how can your presence be of impact everywhere you go?

Allowing the earth to ground you,

the wind to move you,

the sun to fuel you,

your blood to guide you.

With every step I take, moving with the force of my nature.

How life is formed and how life is continued.

'Take a look at me now'

Begin with what you have now,

Unity with self & realize that every action will ripple through the currents of the universe.

You will see your light extended, everywhere around you.

I am light never seen before.

I love the saying that people and opportunities don’t come into your life for no reason, it doesn’t mean you can’t say no, it doesn’t mean you can’t refuse a direction. Take your time. However, when we surrender to the flow of life, we are able to know what is for us. Trust your time.

We are able to be moved and move graciously.

You cannot find yourself by going into the past. You can find yourself by coming into the present. -Ekhart Tolle

Q: Do you ever experience your mind wanting you to say something to someone initially before your anxiety kicks in and tells us that that person may murder or merely reject you?

Yeah well, that first kick can bring you the answers you are seeking,,, reaching out and expecting the best possible outcome rather than rejection is what will keep aligning you to your highest potential. Whether the response will be a no, thank you, or more.

About:

Africans all around the world tailor with African kitenge prints, even though the materials are produced in the west, which is an element that needs to change. Fashion industries are flourishing of African or POC creators, without regard to the growth, we need our own textile production warehouses/companies. This could be very beneficial to African economies. Otherwise, our consumption will continuously build billionaires in the western world and leave African countries to dust. We have to sustainably and consciously produce in Africa. Fred Eboka Nigerian entrepreneur, and owner of Eboka, stated:

"Design is science and technology, - the machine's we use, all the equipment we use is a product of science and technology, and we have to think as scientists. If you want to be a good designer you have to think like a scientist, you have to be innovative."

His perspective, which is interesting, discussed the reason why people believe a race is superior to the other is "because they acquire technology". This is also why I believe that at some point robots will be superior to the human race, and production will occur in countries around the world that invest. Inferior civilizations will be robotized, so if African entrepreneurs and governments don't take the precautions to invest in the developments of technology and businesses, Africa again, will be left in the dust. Globalization does not occur without a catch. Check out this interview held by content creator Tayo Aina, Mr. Eboka presents a modern and factual perspective of entrepreneurship, specifically in textile production.

Africa deserves to create in its own manner with the abundance of materials flourishing amongst the African continent. Change the narrative.

Neverthemore, the shoot was located in the dunes of The Netherlands, the country where kitenge is mainly produced. Home away from home. This portrays that our energy can be perceived no matter where we stand. The shield African wear gives you. Holding you, feeling confidence, pride, enjoyment, vibrancy, and inter-connectedness. May we connect and support our people & art.
